Possibility of access to on-site locations for research fieldwork

If you wish to conduct research that falls within the area of our research interests, the Chair can help you gain access to on site locations where fieldwork can be carried out that will allow you to complete your project.

Research assistant

When you conduct a Chair-approved research project, you can get help from research assistants to plan and complete your project. For example, research assistants could work with you to meet a particularly tight deadline.

Infrastructure

Office space is available for visiting professors, including access to printers, photocopiers and scanners, in addition to internet access and telephone.

Helping you make your work known to the right audiences

Many projects initiated by our participating professors, in collaboration with the Chair, have been presented at conferences or other events, including several at the international level. As well, any project relevant to our activities can be the subject of a video capsule or a working paper, which can be posted and made available on our website.

Supporting your students

When your students take part in one of the Chair’s projects, they can get help with their master’s or doctoral program. For example, the Chair team can help them manage their studies efficiently so as to meet deadlines and ensure that their academic project is completed. The team can also give them valuable information on opportunities for funding their studies
